Cruising Through Time: An Exclusive Evening for America’s 250th to Benefit the Ethan Allen Homestead Museum

Date: Wednesday, August 19, 2026

Time: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Strictly Limited to 42 Guests.
With only 42 seats, this isn't just a fundraiser; it’s an intimate gathering.

Step aboard for an unforgettable, private cruise on Lake Champlain to honor America’s 250th anniversary and support the Ethan Allen Homestead Museum, a 501c3 nonprofit. This intimate evening is designed exclusively for dedicated supporters of the Ethan Allen Homestead Museum, offering a rare blend of breathtaking views, fine company, and history right where it happened.

Your Exclusive Experience Includes:

  • A Private Voyage: Enjoy the beauty of the lake on a vessel chartered entirely for our small group of 42 guests.

  • Expert Insights: Gain a deeper understanding of our region's past with special remarks by Dr. Alexandra Garrett, Vermont's Revolutionary War Historian for the state's 250th Anniversary Commission.

  • History Beneath the Waves: Sail directly to the site of an underwater Revolutionary War shipwreck and uncover the dramatic naval battles fought on Lake Champlain.

  • A Rare Hands-On Encounter: View—and safely handle—genuine Revolutionary War artifacts recovered from the lake floor, generously on loan from the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum.

  • Exquisite Pairings: Enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres alongside a premium cash bar as you cruise.

  • Curated Door Prizes: Take home a piece of history with exclusive, commemorative giveaways.

Your support of this event is as a direct investment in preserving Vermont's history for the Semiquincentennial.

Secure Your Passage: Because seating is strictly limited to 42 passengers to maintain an intimate experience, tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Secure your place on deck today and directly support the preservation of Vermont’s foundational history.
