The Ethan Allen Homestead Museum is a 501c3 non-profit and all event proceeds benefit our mission to bring to life and preserve the history of this intervale (riverside) site, including the 1780’s Ethan Allen Homestead.

Age: There is no minimum age, but the recommended age is 12+ for the level of spookiness and historical storytelling involved. Guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Length: Tours last 1 hour.

Language: Tours are in English.

Check-in: Tickets will be held at the door under the name of the purchaser.

Lateness: Check in 15-30 minutes before your tour start time or risk losing your spot. Late access will not be available.

Complimentary refreshments & exhibits access: Your ticket grants you access to the museum exhibits, gift shop, and complimentary hot apple cider & cookies (in addition to your haunted tour). Please check-in early to experience these benefits.

Parking: Address is 1 Ethan Allen Homestead Burlington, VT 05408. Google Maps offers great navigation to this site.

Attire: Dress for the outdoors at night. Bring your own flashlight. The grounds are not lit.

Weather: These tours will run in light rain, but will be canceled for extreme weather. If the EAHM cancels this event, you will be notified via email, there will not be a make-up date, and tickets will be fully refunded.

Cancellation policy: Email Angie at director@ethanallenhomestead.org for cancellation requests. Cancellation requests received by 10/18/26 11:59pm will be refunded in full. Cancellation requests received by 10/21/26 11:59pm will be 50% refunded. Cancellation requests received on & after 10/22/26 will not be refunded since we will not have time to resell those tickets.
